Hollie Midtlyng
Licensed Massage Therapist
Hi, my name is Hollie Midtlyng and I am sole owner and operator of Healing Hearts with Hollie. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, level II Reiki Practitioner, and postpartum doula. I studied massage at LeJames International in 2010 graduating with the required 600 hrs needed to become licensed here in Iowa. I am a member of the AMTA and continue to learn through a variety of continuing education classes. I have also studied at the School of Metaphysics and completed their first cycle of lessons in mastering consciousness in 2019. I have been practicing Reiki since 2020 and became a postpartum doula in 2022 through CAPPA. Massage is the first profession that I remember having an interest in, and it truly makes me happy to help others feel relaxed and balanced. Reiki adds energy work to the physical work of balancing the body and can help calm the mind and clear negative feelings and emotions. I love helping others in any capacity that I can, and it has led me down the paths to where I am today. I am excited to be here at Waukee Wellness, and it brings me joy to welcome you into my own space.
Paige Harnish, LISW, CHIMP
Mental/Behavioral Health Therapist
Originally from Cedar Rapids, I moved to the Des Moines area in 2013 after graduating from the University of Iowa with a master’s degree in social work. My personal passion for health and wellness led me into the field of medical social work where I have spent the majority of my career. I work as an integrative mental health provider committed to helping people achieve whole body wellness. My work focuses on identifying, treating, and resolving barriers and symptoms that interfere with a person’s ability to reach full mental and physical potential. I believe in taking a holistic and collaborative approach to helping clients.
Katie Nyberg
Prenatal/Post-Partum Consultant
I am married to Dr. Wes and Waukee Wellness is definitely a family business! While you might occasionally see me in the office with our boys getting adjusted (or decorating for a holiday!), I spend time working on social media and education for our patients. I work primarily as a labor doula, postpartum doula, childbirth/new parent educator, and doula trainer through my personal business, The Iowa Baby Lady. If you are a pregnant patient in our office, be sure to let Dr. Wes know if we can be of any help. I love talking to patients about their birth options in Des Moines and staying comfortable during pregnancy and birth!

Ariana Davenport
Chiropractic Assistant
Hi, all! I am originally from the Meskwaki Settlement/Tama and moved to the Des Moines area in June of 2022. I graduated with my AA from Kirkwood Community College in 2020 and am currently working towards obtaining my BA from the University of Northern Iowa. Throughout the years I have explored a variety of career choices to determine what is the best fit for me. During this, I have noticed I am consistently gravitating towards the “helping” professions. With my special interest in helping people, I have found the chiropractic setting to be a nice fit. I have the pleasure of seeing patients leaving and feeling their best, which is more than enough of a reward for me. I am eager to build relationships with the community during my time here at Waukee Wellness & Chiropractic!
